Producer/Director Charlotte Browne describes the filming:

"It was an incredibly emotional shoot. The language barrier made it very difficult and we could only communicate with Defen via the translator so for the first couple of days it was hard to build up a relationship with her. Because of her terrible treatment in the circus, Defen was scared to trust us and she was worried we wouldn't bring her home from the hospital."

"As we spent more time with her, we became more and more fond of her. We communicated with lots of holding hands and hugging. The only words she knew in English were "big nose" and that's what she called each of us! She is an incredibly warm hearted person and an extremely courageous woman."

"Defen is very poor and has few basic possessions. Please help us to raise the money for her - it will make such a difference to her life."
